New Beginnings at SORAPOL

Last month SORAPOL showcased their eagerly awaited AW13 collection, “Immortal”, at 33 Portland Place.

The collection featured numerous Arabic, Indian and Oriental inspired pieces with that classic SORAPOL twist, some beautifully crafted headwear and jewelry, and impressive crocodile skin bags by S’uvimol.

With the venue packed to capacity it really was what you would call a full house. Guests included the much celebrated fashion journalist Hilary Alexander, amongst other well-known fashion faces, notable clients and celebrities.

All of which were able to enjoy the incredible tequila cocktails at the drinks reception before the show courtesy of Patrón.

The models elegantly paraded through the stunning eighteenth century house in Central London, moving through 4 decadent rooms where guests were assembled, and had to tackle 2 flights of extremely steep stairs on their way.

The models were greeted with a rapturous applause from guests during the finale and with that came the end of AW13. Guests, the SORAPOL team and those who just missed the show, partied the night away in venues across the city and ended the season on a high.

With such a fantastic season finale, it could only mean one thing; SS14 is on its way. Excitement is already brewing in the SORAPOL studio about upcoming projects that are on the horizon for the brand. And with the beginning of a new season comes some new faces at SORAPOL too. So be sure to keep a look out!
